Get ready to roll at the exciting SAFRA Yishun U13 Bowling Challenge, presented in collaboration with Sonic Bowl! This event is all about young bowlers under 13 years old having a blast.

All prizes will be given out during Prize Presentation after Finals are concluded. 

Rules and Regulations

• Qualifiers will be spread across two squads. Both Qualifiers and Finals will be played on 19th October 2024. The maximum number of players for each squad will be capped at 48 pax. Bowlers are only allowed to choose one squad of their preference on a first come first served basis. The schedule is as shown below.
• Qualifiers will consist of one 3 game series, inclusive of handicap if any. The top 48 after 2 squads have completed will qualify for the finals
• Finals on 19th October 2024 will consist of 5 games and the highest total score, inclusive of handicap if any, will be crowned SAFRA U13 Sweeper Champion.
• Registration fee does not include bowling shoes and socks. If you do not have your own bowling shoes and socks, shoes can be rented and socks can be purchased at Sonic Bowl @ SAFRA Yishun counter.
• Lane change will be after every game and cross-lane play will be used throughout this challenge.
• The following handicap system will be in place for the SAFRA U13 Challenge 2024:

• When a tie is registered after Qualifiers or Finals, the player with the highest game (with handicap, if any), shall be the winner. If this still ends with a tie, the next high game will be counted, and / or repeated until the tie is broken. If there is still a tie after all games are accounted for, a one ball roll off before the finals on 19 October 2024 will be thrown to break the tie, and / or repeated until the tie is broken. If there is still a tie after the finals, a one ball roll off after the finals on 19 October 2024 will be thrown to break the tie, and / or repeated until the tie is broken.

Bowling Balls

• Participants may use their own bowling balls.
• If a participant does not own bowling balls, house balls provided by Sonic Bowl @ SAFRA Yishun will be allowed during the tournament
• Altering of bowling ball surface WILL BE ALLOWED EVERY GAME. (Not allowed if you are using Sonic Bowl's house balls.)

Check-in Procedures

• All participants are to Check-In personally at the tournament desk at least 30 minutes before the start of their Qualifier Squads and Finals. 
• The clock in the bowling center will be the official timepiece.
• Participants requiring shoe rental must arrive at least 15 minutes before the Check-in time to avoid any delays in the check-in process.

EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Participants must be 13 years old or younger, with a birthdate on or after 1 January 2011.
• Age verification will be conducted, and individuals who do not meet the specified age criteria will be disqualified.
• Organisers retain the right to withdraw any registration that does not adhere to the criteria outlined above.
• Each registration allows entry for 1 to SAFRA Yishun U13 Challenge.
• Registration fee does not include bowling shoes and socks. if you do not have your own bowling shoes and socks, shoes can be rented and socks can be purchased at Sonic Bowl @ SAFRA Yishun Counter.
• Fees stated above are exclusive of 9% GST. All payments are to be made prior to participating in the activity/event/workshop/course.
• Registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
• Complete the entire transaction to checkout with cart payment to ensure a successful registration. Your registration is not successful if you did not receive a receipt via email.
• Withdrawal / Cancellation: No refunds shall be given if the participant wished to withdraw from the event/workshop/course for any reason. No refunds shall be given or make-up session conducted if the participant misses the session for any reason.
• SAFRA Yishun reserve full rights to cancel or change details of the activity/event/workshop/course without prior notice.
