BazGym Carnival (7 & 8 Sep 2024) 

BazGym Carnival is a 2-day event where BazGym Gymnastics School, who has recently won the Singapore Gymnastics Club of the Year for their ‘Gymnastics for All’ programmes, aim to share the wonders and benefits of gymnastics with everyone!

There will be gymnastics try-outs, fun challenges, performances, and talks! Of course, as all good carnivals go, there will be free popcorn and candy floss too!

BazGym Gymnastics Try-out
If you have never tried a gymnastics class before, here is your chance to do so! Led by the experienced instructors from BazGym, each try-out is 15 minutes long. Get ready to learn simple rolls, walk on balance beams, and jump on trampolines! Slots are limited, register at the activity counter at SAFRA Jurong Atrium!

BazGym Challenge Stations
Participate in some challenges, win some prizes, and do some good! BazGym Challenge consists of 2 individual stations - the Parallel Bars Walk, and the Mushroom Circles!

Each try is $10, for a go at each station. There will be 3 age categories, ‘12 and below’, ‘12-18 years old’, and ‘Open Category’.

For 1 minute each time, participants must move to and fro the parallel bar using their hands, without dropping down. The goal is to achieve as many "laps" as possible.

For the Mushroom Circles, participants must walk as many rounds as possible around the mushroom using their hands, with their feet on the Mushroom. The goal is to achieve as many "rounds" as possible.

The daily top 3 challengers for each category will win very attractive prizes! At the end of the event, 100% of the proceeds collected from this challenge event will be donated to Children’s Wishing Well, a local children’s charity that are not funded by government grants nor conduct any commercial fundraising activities.

BazGym Performances
Enjoy performances by both BazGym's Boys and Girls Competitive teams, as well as their students with special needs. The Boys will be putting up an exciting gymnastics performance based on tumbling skills. The Girls will be introducing the 4 gymnastics events that artistic female gymnasts do at competitive levels. The students with special needs will also be showcasing their gymnastics skills that they have honed over the years. Together with the upbeat music, they will show that they have not let autism prevent them from achieving gymnastics skills that took them a lot of time and discipline to perfect.
